In Memoriam - Prof. Sugeng Triwahyono

It was quite a shock to learn of the passing of my colleague, Prof. Sugeng Triwahyono, the editor of MJFAS on 16 February 2018. He was one of the pillars of our journal and research centre, and a person who made a mark on so many people professionally and personally. As a friend of Prof. Sugeng Triwahyono for more than twenty years, I want to send my deepest sympathy to his family. Prof. Sugeng, as a chemistry professor, was a very productive researcher and I have the fondest memories of him, his wife, Prof. Aishah Abdul Jalil, and his lovely children, Akmal and Sarah. I convey my love and fond remembrances to his family. May he rest in peace.

Hadi Nur, The Editor-in-chief of MJFAS and Director of Centre for Sustainable Nanomaterials, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
